Coffee Club

Challenge

The challenge was to create a fresh and modern visual identity for Coffee Club that felt warm, friendly and inviting. The brand needed to stand out while still feeling familiar and comfortable, a place people would want to return to, not just for coffee but for the atmosphere. The aim was to improve the overall customer experience and help Coffee Club feel more like a community space rather than just another cafe.

A key part of the challenge was using a black and white, hand drawn approach without the brand feeling flat or unfinished. I needed to balance simplicity with personality, making sure the hand drawn elements felt intentional and consistent across the brand. The design had to feel creative and authentic, while still working clearly across different touchpoints and appealing to a wide audience.

Results

The finished project delivers a distinctive black and white, hand drawn brand identity that feels warm and approachable across all touchpoints. The new design enhances the customer experience, communicates the brand’s friendly personality and reinforces Coffee Club as a vibrant, creative community hub, not just a place to grab coffee.
